What is the Opportunity?
Join RBC's Funds Transfer Pricing Centre of Excellence where you will drive the strategic implementation of FTP execution and margin reporting globally. This is a high-impact role supporting one of the CFO Group’s most critical transformation initiatives.
As Senior Manager, FTP Transformation, you will be responsible for driving implementation and the build-out of a new FTP execution engine and margin reporting framework starting with our U.S. entities and CUSO businesses. This role has direct impact on the bank's regulatory compliance commitments, financial reporting accuracy across legal entities and business units, and the profitability insights that drive strategic business decisions.
You will work closely with the Senior Director of FTP Transformation and leaders across Corporate Treasury, Finance, Group Risk Management, and Business Segments to ensure consistent, reliable FTP execution and reporting that enables sound risk-adjusted pricing and profitability measurement across the enterprise. This role offers the opportunity to build deep expertise in funds transfer pricing, asset-liability management, and financial performance management while partnering with senior stakeholders across the organization.
What will you do?
- Contribute meaningfully to the implementation and oversight of the FTP execution engine for CUSO businesses and U.S. legal entities, ensuring accurate calculation and application of interest rate risk (IRR) and liquidity risk (LR) FTP charges to all products on the balance sheet
- Drive the development and implementation of the FTP margin reporting framework for CUSO entities and U.S. operations, with particular focus on meeting Federal Reserve MRA requirements and regulatory expectations
- Support the booking and allocation of FTP charges into RBC's financial systems, ensuring proper accounting treatment from both management and legal entity perspectives, and reconciliation with external financial statements
- Analyze FTP data flows across multiple legacy systems (FMSR, ALRETS, FLAME, OFFSA, DIR, LCA) and support the transition toward modernized, centralized FTP infrastructure aligned with CFO priorities
- Work with Product Control, Financial Control, and Hedge Accounting teams to understand, validate, and report on FTP execution results and margin analytics
- Identify and document data integrity issues related to FTP charges and lead remediation efforts; conduct testing and validation for system rule changes and enhancements
- Coordinate with finance partners across Business Segments, Corporate Treasury, and Group Risk Management to ensure alignment on FTP methodologies, policies, and reporting outputs
- Develop and enhance management reporting packages that translate FTP execution and margin results into actionable insights for CFO-level audiences, supporting monthly reporting rhythms and forecast cycles
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline FTP processes, reduce operational risk, and improve the efficiency and transparency of FTP execution and margin reporting

What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
- CPA designation or equivalent
- Undergraduate degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in finance, reporting, and accounting environments with exposure to financial systems and accounting principles
- Prior audit or internal control background, or equivalent experience with financial statement reconciliation and data integrity validation
- Solid understanding of funds transfer pricing, asset-liability management (ALM), and financial performance management concepts
- Strong overall understanding of RBC's business model, financial structure, and the relationship between legal entity and management reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with keen attention to detail and the ability to question and validate information for integrity
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex FTP concepts into clear narratives for senior leadership
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups
Nice to have:
- Experience with EPM systems, Cognos TM1, or financial reporting platforms
- Experience supporting transformation initiatives or large-scale system implementations
- Knowledge of RBC's Corporate Treasury function, interest rate risk management, or funding and capital strategies
- Exposure to regulatory compliance requirements or experience working with Federal Reserve or banking regulatory frameworks
- Experience with financial data warehouse tools or BI platforms
- Management accounting or FP&A background with demonstrated success in building business cases and supporting strategic decision-making
