About the role
Are you ready to shape the future of energy? As Senior Manager, Electrification Sales & Operations at AGL, you’ll drive the transformation of how Australians power their homes. In this senior leadership role, you will shape the operational performance and drive business transformation of our Electrification & Innovation Sales and Operations function. Leading a diverse portfolio with end to end accountability across Sales, Customer Support, Engineering, Installation Delivery, Operations and Continuous Improvement functions —you’ll build scalable, customer-centric and commercially sustainable operating models that support the successful launch and growth of innovative home electrification product.
As a key member of the Electrification and Innovation Leadership Team, you will champion operational excellence, quality and safety standards, risk management and continuous improvement. Your leadership will enable operational readiness, strong vendor partnerships, and a customer experience that supports long-term, sustainable business growth.
What you’ll be doing:
Lead sales strategy, revenue growth, P&L performance and operational excellence across electrification products. Shape commercially scalable models, streamline processes, and partner with external vendors and internal teams to uplift capability and enable successful home electrification product delivery.
Inspire and develop teams across Sales, Customer Support, Engineering Delivery, Operations, Improvement and Enablement. Build a strong, customer-centric culture focused on safety, quality, performance, innovation and continuous improvement.
Guide installation, post-sale service, billing, reconciliation, and back-office functions to ensure seamless delivery. Champion a frictionless customer journey, rapid issue resolution and insights-driven enhancements that improve satisfaction and retention.
Own operational and HSE risk management, quality standards, compliance obligations and government program requirements. Lead robust vendor and partner relationships, ensuring commercial, safety and operational excellence across all contracts.
Drive technology platform strategy, embed scalable processes, and feed operational and customer insights into product development and future growth strategy
About you:
Demonstrated leadership experience in operations, sales enablement, engineering and delivery.
Proven success leading multiple teams across diverse operational areas, with experience managing cross-functional areas such as Sales, Customer Support, Engineering and Continuous Improvement.
Proven experience in managing profit and loss business.
Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities with a track record of operationalising scalable products and driving revenue growth.
Expertise in vendor and partner management, quality assurance, safety adherence to contracted SLAs, and regulatory compliance within complex operational settings.
Demonstrated experience in risk identification, mitigation and governance.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
