Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is looking for a Senior Logistics Manager to work on the Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) program. The Global Enterprise Network Modernization – OCONUS (GENM-O) is a critical mission provider responsible for keeping the Army connected through global network modernization projects. The AGUN modernization effort will unify the next generation of Army transport to comply with the Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) divestiture mandate. A phased systematic approach is required to provide individual sites with standardized, updated technology systems to ensure the Army’s Information Technology (IT) infrastructure is equipped to provide soldiers with cutting-edge technology to ensure applications, data, and enterprise services are accessible, trusted, and interoperable across the globe.
The Logistics Manager will lead strategic, operational, and tactical logistics execution for the AGUN program. This role ensures mission-critical materials, vendor services, and subcontractor operations are aligned to support the Army’s global modernization effort. The ideal candidate combines logistics acumen with data-driven planning and strong vendor-management skills to deliver reliable, cost-effective outcomes across all AGUN regions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Strategic Logistics Leadership:
Develop and execute the AGUN logistics strategy covering procurement, supply chain, material readiness, and distribution.
Lead forecasting, planning, and tracking of long-lead or high-demand items to mitigate schedule and cost risk.
Oversee tech-debt planning, identifying material refresh needs and lifecycle dependencies to inform budget and modernization forecasts.
Operational Management:
Manage all aspects of AGUN logistics operations including ordering, shipping, inventory, warehousing, invoicing, and vendor coordination.
Oversee warehousing, staging, and transportation activities to ensure safe, timely, and cost-efficient movement of AGUN materials.
Build and maintain the Critical Supplies & Items Playbook — a dynamic reference for commonly required materials, sourcing methods, and lead-time expectations to improve efficiency and predictability.
Maintain accountability for property management and documentation of serialized assets across the enterprise.
Coordinate closely with the Engineering, PMO, and Installation teams to synchronize field readiness and deployment requirements.
Subcontractor Oversight & Financial Integration:
Provide oversight and coordination of subcontractor logistics activities and spending through SLATE (Subcontractor Labor Accounting and Tool for Expenses).
Support vendor performance assessments and alignment with AGUN’s supplier strategy, including small-business and diversity goals.
Work with the Program Controls and Finance teams to monitor budgets, analyze cost performance, and support monthly financial reporting.
Track purchase orders, invoices, and DD250/DD1149 documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with contract requirements.
Continuous Improvement & Governance:
Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen supply-chain performance, cost control, and responsiveness.
Partner with the Process Control Board to document logistics processes and lessons learned.
Ensure compliance with Army, Leidos, and federal safety assurance standards in all logistics operations.
Support risk management by identifying supply-chain vulnerabilities and developing mitigation strategies.
Provide logistics inputs to the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Earned Value Management (EVM) reviews, and monthly status reports.
Required Qualifications:
US Citizen with a Secret security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field and 8+ years prior relevant experience.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage logistics operations supporting enterprise IT or DoD programs.
Strong understanding of procurement, material management, vendor relations, and subcontractor oversight.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and standard logistics tracking tools.
Excellent organizational and communication skills; capable of balancing near-term execution with long-term strategic planning.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting Army or DoD network modernization programs.
Familiarity with SLATE, ServiceNow, ERP, or other logistics and financial management systems.
Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or ITIL for process improvement.
