Elevate your career as a Senior IT Auditor, where you will lead high-visibility operational audit engagements and provide deep technical assurance over our IT and security control environments. Reporting to the IT Audit Manager, this position offers the flexibility to work remotely two days a week, or from our Technology Center in Alpharetta, GA. (This is not a fully-remote role). This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support.
What you’ll do:
Lead and administer IT and security operational audits to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness of technology & security processes and controls
Verify the consistency of operations with technology & security’s organizational objectives and standards through various procedures.
Identify business risks and opportunities for operational cost reduction.
Prepare concise, well-organized working papers that accurately document audit tests.
Discuss preliminary audit findings with management and leadership responsible for resolution.
Prepare audit reports and provide recommendations for improvements.
What experience you need:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a relevant field from an accredited college/university.
2-5 years of experience in internal and/or external IT audit.
Foundational knowledge of the IT/Security Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), IT systems development process controls, cyber security controls, and cloud environment controls.
Working knowledge of technology and audit principles and procedures (e.g., COBIT, NIST).
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex processes.
Experience with AI tools to enhance workflows or the intellectual curiosity to learn AI productivity is required.
Process improvement mentality and ability to streamline processes to support occasional consulting projects.
Proficiency in Google Workspace applications, especially Google Sheets and Google Docs.
What could set you apart:
Automation and AI skillset to enable increased testing scope outside of traditional audit sampling.
Intermediate/advanced cloud-native audit experience, with an emphasis on cloud-native GCP and AWS
Soft skills required to develop partnerships and create common goals with auditees/process owners
CISA, CISSP, CPA or other relevant certification would be a plus. The desire to complete relevant certifications is required.
Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm experience is a big plus
