Job Description

What is the opportunity?

Lead RBC Investor Services (RBC IS) NAV Production team, overseeing accurate net asset value computations for our entire fund range. You'll drive operational excellence through effective team management, process optimization, and risk mitigation while ensuring strict adherence to policies, regulatory requirements, and service level agreements. This role combines strategic oversight of fund pricing production with coaching and development of talented fund accounting professionals.

What will you do?

  • Manage team resources, workload allocation, and performance to ensure consistent, accurate daily NAV deliverables

  • Oversee fund valuations, reconciliation activities, and NAV control processes while serving as primary escalation point

  • Monitor service level agreements, minimize NAV discrepancies, and implement timely corrective actions

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflows, processes, and operational efficiency

  • Coach and develop Supervisors, Senior Fund Accountants, and Fund Accountants on process, risk, and controls

  • Partner with internal teams (Custody, Transitions, Compliance, IT) and manage client relationships for launches, conversions, and terminations

  • Ensure compliance with regulations, accounting standards, and audit requirements through evolved procedures and controls

  • Participate in NAV Production strategy projects and business continuity plan testing

What do you need to succeed?

Must haves:

  • University degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance

  • Extensive funds industry experience with proven track record in Fund Accounting, Pricing, or Client Reporting

  • Strong knowledge of fund products, financial markets, and applicable regulatory environments

  • Expertise in accounting standards (IFRS and country-specific standards)

  • Demonstrated management and coaching skills with excellent communication abilities

  • Proficiency with fund accounting systems and computer literacy

Nice-to-have:

  • Accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA)

  • CFA or similar professional credential

  • Experience with M-Power fund accounting system

  • Knowledge of RBC IS systems and workflows

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$67,000.00 - $110,000.00
