The Community You Will Join:
Airbnb is seeking an Accounting Intern to join the Statutory Reporting team for our Summer Intern Program.
If hired, you’ll have the opportunity to work with the Statutory Reporting team, as well as work with multiple cross-functional partners such as GL accounting, tax, and legal. The Statutory Reporting team works with these cross-functional teams to prepare financial statements for Airbnb entities outside of the United States. This team also works with auditors to ensure that Airbnb’s financial information being reported are accurate, complete, and follows all the rules and regulations in different countries.
The Difference You Will Make:
You'll play an important part in ensuring Airbnb’s financial reporting outside the US is accurate and compliant. This includes analyzing accounts and identifying adjustments needed so statutory books meet local requirements. You’ll get hands-on experience drafting financial statements, and you’ll support auditors by organizing and providing key documents. You’ll also build your project management skills as you help keep audits on track and meet deadlines.
A Typical Day:
As an intern, you’ll be integrated into the Statutory Reporting team where you’ll contribute to impactful projects. This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
