Senior Frontend Engineer

Taiwan Full time
Yahoo serves as a trusted guide for hundreds of millions of people globally, helping them achieve their goals online through our portfolio of iconic products. For advertisers, Yahoo Advertising offers omnichannel solutions and powerful data to engage with our brands and deliver results.

About the Role

This role owns the frontend technical direction and architecture for TW/HK search products, ensuring we deliver scalable, high-quality, and performant search experiences that enable end-to-end experimentation, modernization, and monetization at scale.

You will work closely with product managers, backend engineers, data analysts, and designers to translate product strategy and business goals into robust frontend platforms. You will continuously iterate on search products to create engaging, user-loved experiences. Beyond hands-on development, you will play a critical role in technical decision-making, mentoring engineers, and driving frontend excellence across the team.

About You

You are a frontend engineering leader who is passionate about building large-scale platforms and setting technical direction, not just shipping features. You care deeply about architecture, code quality, performance, and long-term maintainability, and you understand how frontend systems enable our search product velocity, experimentation, and business outcomes.

You are comfortable bridging product vision and technical execution, proactively identifying risks, trade-offs, and opportunities. You enjoy mentoring others, leading by example, and continuously raising the frontend engineering bar.

If you are excited about shaping the future of Yahoo Search experiences to the markets, and working with a team that values both technical rigor and collaboration, we’d love to talk to you.
