The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager in Berkeley, Missouri, reporting to the Fighter Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this role you will lead a team of analysts responsible for the finance execution of the F/A-18 aircraft program. You will partner across functions to identify, implement, and drive changes that improve the program’s overall financial performance. This role requires engagement with key U.S. Navy customers and Boeing senior leaders, and demands strong financial and operational acumen.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage employees performing Estimates at Completion, budget development, financial forecasting, business case development and risk analysis, and financial and competitive analyses

  • Coordinate with program management, contracts, and estimating on new proposal pursuits

  • Develop and execute integrated organizational plans, policies, and procedures; guide the development of business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives

  • Acquire resources for organizational activities and lead process improvements

  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports

  • Manage, develop, and motivate a strong finance team

  • This position is full-time and in-office

  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required. A post-start background investigation is required

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in a finance-related role such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts, or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)

  • 5+ years of management or team leadership experience

  • 5+ years of financial analysis experience

  • Experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Experience managing cost and affordability

  • Experience with negotiations or providing persuasive inputs to strategic decisions

  • Experience with Long Range Business Planning (LRBP), forecasting, and resource planning processes

  • Experience developing and maintaining relationships with business partners

  • Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Summary Pay Range: $157,250 - $212,750
