Job Details:

Purpose

This position will plan and implement interventions for students involved in Project BASIC. Responsible for participating in all phases of implementation of the research project. This includes intervention and assessment responsibilities. To plan and implement the work of the TIER Project related to Multi-Tiered System of Supports.

Responsibilities

  • Meet expectations of required activities as set out by funding source.

  • Advise and support Education Service Center representatives, TIER Network members and/or Local Education Agencies with training and coaching implementation needs.

  • Analyze project data to create, implement, and monitor a plan to increase participant learning of MTSS/TIER content.

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners.

  • Conduct face-to-face or virtual professional development using Intervention Academies content.

  • Provide timely communication for project objectives, and with project leadership (Project Director/Manager/Principal Investigators)

  • Attend all meetings as required and maintain accurate documentation of work.

  • This candidate may also support additional projects, as determined by the direct supervisor. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with expertise in school-based behavior and mental health models within a Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) framework. This person should have experience working with students and teachers. This person should also have experience supporting teachers through coaching. Three years’ experience teaching elementary students and providing instruction in reading and math. Demonstrated knowledge of research-based practices, MTSS, and use of student assessment data to make instructional decisions. A Master’s Degree in an education-related field is required. Bilingual in Spanish in all aspects of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. 6 years of relevant experience.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has worked in Texas with local education agencies as well as education service centers. We are looking for someone with experience in designing and delivering professional learning to teachers.

Salary Range

$60,000 - $70,000
