Job Description
Your Responsibilities:
• With your strong expertise and creativity in synthesis and process development, you take a leading role in setting up future chemistry and manufacturing pathway for Antibidy-Oligonucleotide-Conjugates (AOCs).
• You will be a key contributor to engage and esure adequate support and knowledge transfer for Novartis BD&L activities focussing on chemistry and manufacturing processes.
• In our labs, your experimental designs will be executed and allow you to interpret and report data and results
• Further, he/she coordinates and ensures timely availability and transfer of manufacturing instructions to pilot plant within Chemical & Analytical Development or CMOs.
• As a core member of crossfunctional team, you collaborate closely with our internal and external partners to ensure timely and quality delivery of new nucleotide drugs to our patients
• Further, he/she provides relevant process documentation in support of filing of dossiers.
• He/she is also actively participates in scientific exchange groups within Novartis and Academia
as well as maintains excellent collaborations with our customers.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Expert knowledge in the field of bioconjugation, preferably conjugation of oligonucleotides to antibodies. Other bioconjugation expertise is also a benefit.
- Dedicated, thoughtful and flexible team working skills.
- Good knowledge of English (oral and written) is required, good command of German (spoken/ written) is desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of laboratory and/or technical tools
- Good knowledge of software and computer tools such as Office package
Desirable Requirements:
• We are looking for candidates with PhD and PostDoc in organic chemistry, biochemistry or biological chemistry with specialization in the field of bioconjugation.
• Proven track record and professional experience (minimum 2-3 years) in field of bioconjugation is required.
