Not RequiredWe are seeking a Senior Engineer for Systems & Design Engineering to lead the design, integration, and development of complex aerospace assemblies within a structured product development environment. This role provides technical leadership across engineering design, requirements management, and lifecycle execution to ensure compliant, robust, and high-quality solutions.
You will play a key role in driving engineering excellence, coordinating cross-functional teams, and supporting critical program milestones from concept through production and certification.
What You Will Do
Lead the design and integration of complex assemblies in alignment with established product development processes
Provide engineering oversight of specifications, drawings, and test plans to ensure compliant and robust designs
Conduct system and component requirements reviews and ensure compliance with applicable standards and program requirements
Develop and manage project risks, mitigation plans, and key program deliverables
Prepare and present technical content for design reviews and leadership program updates
Support verification, certification, and production incorporation activities across the product lifecycle
Lead root cause and corrective action (RCCA) investigations for field and engine test component issues
Coordinate Class I and Class II engineering changes through formal change control processes
Collaborate with key suppliers to ensure engineering activities support program milestones and customer requirements
Communicate program status, risks, and closure plans to internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Experience with RCCA, technical problem solving, and change management processes
Qualifications We Prefer
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or a related Engineering field
Experience in complex system or assembly design and integration
Strong knowledge of engineering lifecycle processes, including verification and certification
Ability to lead cross-functional engineering activities and effectively engage with suppliers and stakeholders
Strong communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet aggressive schedules, and deliver within cost and budget targets
Experience working within a highly matrixed organization and collaborating with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel) and integrated master scheduling or project scheduling tools
Strong planning and execution skills
Demonstrated rigor in technical project management and delivery

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
