(Senior) Development Partner, Logistics Strategy, Mobility & Haulage Uplift

[What the role is]

The Logistics Strategy, Mobility and Haulage Uplift Department under the Logistics and Mobility Division focuses on optimising and greening Singapore's moving logistics assets including trucks, trailers, and logistics vehicles. Additionally, the team is working with the industry to pave the way for greener and more autonomous solutions. It will also engage with key mobility companies to strengthen Singapore's logistics ecosystem whilst addressing infrastructure challenges at the system level.

[What you will be working on]

  • Optimize container haulage flows and develop the policy and incentives to encourage greater job-sharing and optimization. 
  • Develop a system level view of logistics infrastructure supporting logistics assets.
  • Develop comprehensive sustainability and automation transition plans for Singapore's logistics vehicle fleet 
  • Engage and manage growing mobility accounts critical to Singapore's logistics ecosystem 
  • Groom mobility companies with exportable solutions for international markets 
  • Work with industry partners on technology adoption

[What we are looking for]

  • Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related discipline 
  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in logistics operations, fleet management, or transportation planning 
  • Strong understanding of logistics vehicle operations, container depot processes, and haulage industry dynamics 
  • Experience in stakeholder management with government agencies, industry associations, and private sector partners
  • Knowledge of sustainability initiatives and automation technologies in the logistics sector 
  • Proven track record in policy implementation and industry transformation projects 
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to develop and monitor performance metrics 
  • Experience working with mobility companies, fleet operators, or logistics service providers 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for engaging diverse industry stakeholders 
  • Understanding of Singapore's logistics infrastructure and regulatory environment (advantageous) 
  • Knowledge of government incentive schemes and grant programmes (advantageous)
