Position Summary:
The Senior Development Manager supports the chapter’s fundraising and volunteer engagement efforts and is responsible for the planning and execution of special events, managing donor and volunteer relationships, and ensuring accurate chapter operations. This role supports key initiatives, leads special events, manages volunteer relationships, and fosters a donor-centric culture. They act as a positive and supportive collaborator with donors, volunteers, care center professionals, corporate sponsors, national partners, and fellow team members, raising awareness about CF.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fundraising
Responsible for a portfolio of fundraising events including, but not limited to budgeting, planning, recruitment and management of sponsorship and committees. Accountable for revenue of assigned events.
Coordinate logistics for fundraising events including, but not limited to venue selection, vendor management, event execution, and volunteer support.
Track event budgets, timelines, and post-event reporting.
May support area and chapter marketing and communications in collaboration with Field Marketing Partners.
Donor & Volunteer Support
Follow a structured moves management process to advance donor relationships through identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship stages.
Responsible for recruitment and management of volunteer leadership and donor engagement for events and fundraising initiatives.
Responsible for building and stewarding relationships in the community.
Communicate, educate, and raise awareness about CF and the Foundation’s mission to people with CF, families, and community members.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the broad portfolio of CFF offerings made available by other Community-facing departments and make referrals as appropriate.
CRM & Data Management
Maintain accurate records of donor and volunteer interactions in the CRM system.
Generate reports to support fundraising analysis and donor engagement strategies.
Ensure data accuracy and compliance with privacy and fundraising regulations.
Policy & Procedure Compliance
Follow all organizational and departmental policies and procedures related to fundraising, event planning, data management, and donor relations.
Provide accurate forecasting of revenue and expenses for events.
Support internal documentation and reporting requirements as requested.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Four-year degree or equivalent education/experience.
Minimum of four years of fundraising and volunteer management experience.
Strong interpersonal communication skills and customer service.
Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to analyze data and reports.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to the Associate Executive Director. No direct reports.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work nights and weekends, as necessary.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to meetings or events.
Sitting, bending, reaching, and walking.
Some heavy lifting may be required.

The salary range is $78,700.00 to $98,500.00.
