As our Senior Customer Partner Manager specializing in Project Management within RCM at R1, you will act as the primary strategic liaison between R1 and our healthcare provider clients. In this role, you will lead and oversee complex, cross-functional projects across the entire Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) spectrum. You will be responsible for managing project lifecycles end-to-end, ensuring seamless stakeholder alignment, and driving operational excellence. Your focus will be on delivering measurable outcomes that support both client objectives and R1’s business goals, while ensuring a high level of client satisfaction throughout each engagement. 

Here’s What You Can Expect 

  • Build and maintain deep, trusted partnerships with senior client stakeholders. Serve as a point of contact for RCM-related matters, ensuring client needs are anticipated and met. 
  • Oversee scopes of work across the RCM lifecycle, from patient access and registration through billing, collections, and denial management. Ensure seamless delivery of R1 services across all touchpoints. 
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of RCM projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. 
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including operations, technology, and analytics, to ensure the successful delivery of RCM services. 
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation within both R1 and client operations.  
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning. 
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, business reviews, and operational updates to both internal and external stakeholders. 

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in healthcare RCM, client management, consulting, or a related field, with a demonstrated track record of leading complex, cross-functional projects in a senior role. PMP certification is strongly preferred. 
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end revenue cycle management processes, industry best practices, and project management methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with project management tools and software. 
  • Proven experience managing complex client relationships and large-scale transformation initiatives. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions. 
  • Willingness to travel as needed. West Coast 
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $100,838.24 - $127,950.31 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 10.00%
