About the Role:

Responsible for applying expertise to directly contribute to supporting the development, implementation, administration and continuous improvement of all aspects of the company"s Compliance and Ethics program.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):

  • Provide sound compliance guidance consistent with applicable laws, regulations and Neurocrine policies
  • Develop and deliver training on compliance policies and procedures
  • Provide services in a timely and efficient manner
  • Conduct (or assist with) internal investigations on compliance matters
  • Draft investigation and audit reports
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent AND 6+ years experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical or medical device industry, including experienced with internal, compliance-related investigations
  • Compliance and Ethics Professional Certification preferred
  • Up to 40% U.S. field travel
  • Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft office, including use of Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; must be an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Adaptable and flexible, able to prioritize duties and manage multiple matters from start with finish with minimal supervision
  • Ability to operate autonomously, as needed, and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adjust to changes in priorities
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong data analytics skills
  • Strong investigatory and documentation skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills using creativity and sound judgment

  • Understanding of healthcare compliance laws and regulations applicable to a pharmaceutical company with a commercial product
  • Strong ability to use word processing and presentation software to prepare documents and training, and to use spreadsheet and statistical analysis software to store, manipulate, analyze and present data

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $101,200.00-$138,000.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
