About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant to join the Early Careers Team within Talent Management and Learning. This position offers the opportunity to influence strategic initiatives, manage complex projects, and deliver exceptional experiences for early career professionals. You will serve as a trusted advisor and program champion, driving innovation, fostering engagement, and ensuring alignment with business priorities—all while collaborating with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to create a best-in-class program that attracts, develops, and retains top talent.
In this role, you will:
- Support one or more early talent programs across lines of business or functions, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and delivering measurable impact on workforce development.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to Early Careers Program Directors, shaping program strategy, execution, and continuous improvement to meet evolving business needs.
- Act as a trusted coach and point of contact for program participants, fostering engagement, growth, and retention throughout their career lifecycle.
- Demonstrate ability to influence change, manage conflict, challenge the status quo to build a best-in-class analyst induction experience, and make strategic and/or difficult decisions to resolve complex issues.
- Identify opportunities for enhancing operating procedures and mitigating risk before and during events.
- Lead a portfolio of projects ensuring the appropriate people, resources and deliverables are achieved within the deadlines.
- Lead 30/60/90-day planning and execution of program milestones.
- Coordinate SteerCo meetings, follow-up actions, and strategic initiatives.
- Support development and execution of “keep warm” strategies and mentorship programs to enhance engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with program/recruiting teams to execute program events and experiences.
- Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business.
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize survey results and program data to develop actionable insights.
- Create and customize presentation decks for senior leadership audiences, integrating compelling visualizations of data and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Track program performance metrics and report progress toward goals, including hiring, diversity, and retention.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement through root cause analysis.
- Present recommendations to enhance program effectiveness and mitigate risks.
- Conduct after-action reviews to continuously improve program delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in early talent recruiting or program management, Corporate & Investment Banking or Commercial Banking preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and prioritization skills, facilitating meetings, developing presentations, and driving alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Collect, analyze, and present data-driven recommendations to business leaders, informing go-forward strategies for events, talent initiatives, and program enhancements.
- Utilize tools such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Workday, and Qualtrics to support program operations, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate with professionalism and inclusivity.
- Build and sustain strong relationships across a complex, matrixed organization, consulting and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Design and deliver high-impact presentation decks for senior leadership, aligning messaging with strategic priorities and incorporating data-driven visuals to enhance clarity and influence decision-making.
- Leverage advanced data visualization techniques to transform complex insights into compelling narratives that support performance reviews, talent strategies, and organizational initiatives.
- Translate analytical findings into executive-ready formats, ensuring insights are accurate, actionable, and aligned with leadership expectations.
- Drive process improvement, problem resolution, and change management initiatives, enhancing operational efficiency and program effectiveness.
- Maintain confidentiality and operate with professionalism and inclusivity, fostering a culture of trust, equity, and belonging.
Job Expectations:
Position will require onsite presence at one of the required locations listed below in a hybrid work schedule.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
Ability to work outside of regular business hours as needed.
