We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Tidal Financial Services to play a key role in supporting the financial settlement, payment processing, and cash management activities across Tidal commodities.

 

In this role, you will provide critical oversight of financial interfaces, subledgers, and bank activity while partnering closely with Front, Middle, and Back Office teams.

What You Will Do:

  • Coordinate payment processing and clear AP and AR subledgers to support period-end close across all Tidal commodities.

  • Oversee OpenLink financial settlements, accruals, and actuals GL interfaces for ERMI, ERMUS, TEMI, and TEMUS.

  • Manage cash management and cash clearing activities, including daily bank activity and balances for all relevant bank accounts.

  • Lead Financial Services settlement responsibilities for Tidal, including monthly settlement cycles and weekly payment runs.

  • Review bank, broker, and balance sheet reconciliations and prepare/post journal entries to clear settlement balances.

  • Support the development, enhancement, and alignment of financial systems and processes with enterprise risk and operating frameworks.

  • Contribute to projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and process efficiency enhancements across Tidal Financial Services.

 

Who You Are:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related financial discipline and are working toward a professional accounting designation; with two or more years of experience in a financial or accounting environment, ideally within energy or commodity marketing.

  • You have strong energy marketing or back-office accounting experience; public accounting experience is considered an asset.

  • You possess working knowledge of complex oil / natural gas marketing and risk systems (Open Link, Oracle Cloud, Smartview/EPBCS/HFM).

  • You are analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with complex financial data and reconciliations.

  • You demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to partner across business functions.

  • You are organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
