Senior Analyst - Inventory Planning (Beauty and Personal Care)

Position Summary

The Inventory Planning Senior Analyst (End-to-End Planning) is a key supply chain professional responsible for managing the entire planning process. From store level planning, to purchasing and collaboration with Category Management Partnering to meet Sales goals, you will manage the inventory to support the sales, within the guideline of inventory KPI’s.

Responsibilities:

Demand Forecasting

  • Use replenishment systems and internal tools to accurately predict future product demand across supplier lines and categories.

Supply Planning

  • Purchase necessary products and maintain target stock levels while achieving inventory, GMROII, and turn goals through collaboration with the Merchant Team and Supplier Partners.

Risk Management

  • Identify potential supply chain disruptions (e.g., supplier delays, weather events) and develop mitigation strategies.

Performance Monitoring

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as in-stock rates, fill rates, and on-time and in-full (OTIF) deliveries. Ensure promotional and planogram readiness.

Data Analysis

  • Utilizing advanced data analytics tools to identify trends, optimize planning processes, and make informed decisions.


Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in retail/ecommerce/CPG
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in supply chain planning systems
  • Understanding of supply chain principles, including forecasting, or inventory management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Blue Yonder Forecasting & Replenishment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
