The Department of Statistics, within the College of Arts and Sciences, seeks a Graduate Studies Program Coordinator to join the team supporting our thriving graduate programs. With 34 faculty members, 7 staff members and four graduate degree programs attracting students from a wide range of backgrounds, we offer a dynamic environment where contributions directly impact student success and program excellence. Working collaboratively with the faculty Vice Chair of Graduate Studies, the Graduate Studies Program Coordinator manages complex projects supporting the department's graduate programs and students. This team member exercises independent judgment on routine matters, receives general guidance on new projects, and handles sensitive information with discretion. The major responsibilities of this position include the following.

Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Additional Education/Experience Desired
Advanced degree in relevant field may be preferred.

Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects with competing priorities and deadlines; strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail; excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion; proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team; proficiency with standard office software and willingness to learn specialized tools such as Qualtrics and DocuSign; ability to compile, analyze, and present data for reporting and decision-making purposes; commitment to providing excellent service to students from all backgrounds.

The pay range for this job profile is $55,700 - $72,700. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
