This role is based at our corporate headquarters in downtown Buffalo, NY and requires working onsite five days per week.
The Ingram Micro Security Professional (SP) position is responsible for assisting the Director of Corporate Security as the subject matter expert (SME) at the corporate office located in Buffalo, NY. The purpose of this position is to implement the appropriate safeguards/tools for the protection of company assets, personnel, training, product, and visitors on Ingram Micro property. The security professional serves as an onsite safety and security resource to assist the director in all functions.
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Security
Your Role:
Monitors the Fraud Alert reporting resource and conduct initial reviews of all reported instances of fraud or suspected fraud, assist in new account reviews as needed, conduct OFAC reviews, etc. Provide detailed reports of all reported incidents.
Conduct Initial accident, loss / theft, and security incident investigations and provide detail reports, summary of findings, and possible preventative measures to the director of corporate security. Action and track the effectiveness of all root cause countermeasures implemented.
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of Ingram Micro Global security and safety polices and ensure compliance.
Audit the activities of the contract security personnel and serve as the primary liaison with the local contract services company. Ensure that they are performing their duties in accordance with Ingram Micro policy and procedures.
Monitors budget and approve invoices for safety and security vendors and services.
Monitor and maintain building life safety and security systems such as automated card access systems (ACAS), camera systems, building intrusion, etc.
Conduct monthly facility audits to ensure compliance with company safety and security standards and policies.
Server as chairperson on the emergency response team (ERT). Required meet monthly to discuss related office safety and security measures / procedures and work with facilities leaders to schedule and conduct fire drills.
What you bring to the role:
Highschool diploma required.
Minimum of 3 years of security & safety experience in a corporate office environment
Experienced with investigations, root cause analysis, access controls and CCTV.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $66,100.00 - $105,800.00 per year.The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
