We are hiring for an Information Security Analyst
Role Summary:
Are you passionate about protecting systems, data, and people from cyber threats? Triumph is looking for a motivated Information Security Analyst to join our team. In this role, you’ll help monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts while strengthening our cybersecurity program. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals to safeguard critical systems, improve security controls, and help ensure our organization stays ahead of evolving threats.
Day in the Life:
As an Information Security Analyst at Triumph, you’ll spend your day monitoring security tools, investigating alerts, and responding to potential threats. You’ll collaborate with teammates to analyze vulnerabilities, strengthen defenses, and ensure systems remain secure and reliable.
What You'll Be Doing:
Monitor, investigate, and respond to alerts from cybersecurity detection and response tools
Help protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical systems and data
Identify potential risks or unusual activity and report or resolve security concerns
Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts
Conduct regular security system health checks and address issues as needed
Assist with periodic audits to identify security gaps or inefficiencies
Implement and maintain security controls that strengthen the cybersecurity program
Analyze logs and investigate potential threats across systems and networks
Support access management by applying role-based and attribute-based permissions
Provide documentation and evidence to support internal or external audits
Respond to security-related helpdesk requests and approvals
Prepare reports that communicate system performance and security status
Contribute to information security initiatives and projects
Stay current on cybersecurity trends, tools, and best practices
Provide occasional on-call support when needed
What Makes You a Great Fit:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar experience
2+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or a related IT role
Understanding of common networking ports and protocols
Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, and DLP platforms
Experience with log analysis and threat detection
Knowledge of email security, phishing detection, and SMTP header analysis
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to collaborate with team members while working independently when needed
Commitment to learning new technologies and continuously improving security practices
