About the Role

The Security Manager – Americas, plays a critical role in executing and scaling the physical security program across the Americas region. This position serves as the primary field leader and operational partner to the business, translating security strategy into effective site-level execution while actively building demand for security services.

Key Responsibilities

Site Engagement & Security Assessments

  • Conduct regular site visits and physical security assessments across the Americas
  • Evaluate site security posture, procedures, guarding effectiveness, and technology utilization
  • Identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities before incidents occur
  • Serve as a trusted security partner to site leadership and local stakeholders

Operational Execution & Program Support

  • Execute regional security initiatives and standards at the site level
  • Support rollout of new security programs, processes, and tools
  • Validate real-world effectiveness of security controls and corrective actions
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure consistent execution across sites

Security Culture & Awareness

  • Deliver security briefings, training sessions, and awareness programs
  • Promote a positive security culture focused on safety, reporting, and preparedness
  • Support tabletop exercises and incident preparedness activities

Investigations & Issue Resolution

  • Lead or support site-level investigations and security incidents
  • Coordinate with Legal, HR, and other partners as needed
  • Ensure findings are documented and corrective actions are implemented

Growth & Business Partnership

  • Actively engage the business to identify opportunities where security can add value
  • Support IMO and M&A activity
  • Drive onboarding of new sites to security services (GSOC monitoring, guarding, technology)
  • Partner with Guarding and GSOC leadership to support program expansion
  • Capture demand signals and operational data to support future team and capability growth

Collaboration & Key Partnerships

  • Partner closely with the Director of Security – Americas on strategy execution
  • Work in lockstep with the Account Director for our guard program on site-level guard performance
  • Coordinate with Technology Security teams to validate system effectiveness
  • Support GSOC operations by improving site engagement, reporting quality, and integration

Qualifications

Required

  • 10+ years of experience in physical security, corporate security, or a related field
  • Experience conducting site security assessments and operational reviews
  • Strong knowledge of physical security principles, guarding operations, and incident response
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with business leaders
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel regionally (approximately 30–40%)

Preferred

  • Experience supporting large, geographically distributed organizations
  • Background in investigations or security program management
  • Familiarity with access control, CCTV, and alarm systems (operational perspective)
  • Experience partnering with contract guarding providers
  • Prior experience in a matrixed or global organization

  • Increased adoption of GSOC and guarding services across the region
  • Improved consistency and maturity of site-level security operations

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $84,400.00–$126,550.00.
