Scrum Master
Position Responsibilities:
Work closely with business units, various stakeholders to drive and deliver system application solutions to address business needs
Coordinate with Product Owner and Business Analysts to produce user stories, specifications, and mock-ups for proposed solutions
Build consensus and facilitate discussion with related stakeholders, business partners and IT development teams
Host Scrum ceremonies and serve the team to achieve the sprint goal and continues to improve
Facilitate and work with QA Team to define test strategy, construct test plan and manage testing team on test execution to ensure the end product meets the business objectives
Own, investigate and lead members of the agile team through sprints and resolve issues
Facilitate, track and monitor project roadmaps and release plan
Manage cross-squad dependencies and necessary Scrum of Scrums
Partner with Project Manager to deliver value to our users
Ensure project compliance with relevant governance
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of working experience in Scrum Master or related fields.
Good understanding of Agile and relevant frameworks, like Scrum and Kanban
Hands-on experience in leading and serving Scrum teams and work with the team to remove impediments
Experience in facilitating backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand up, sprint reviews and retrospectives
Familiar with Agile tools, like Jira and Confluence
Able to work independently, proactively and possess “Can-do” attitude in a dynamic, fast-paced and unstructured environment
Strong communicator who can negotiate effectively to balance business direction/requirements with cost of development and risk
Able to teach Scrum team Agile principles and guide them on best practices
Proven ability to collaborate to deliver business outcomes
Good organizational and problem-solving skills
Good communication skill and proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English
Agile certifications like PSM or CSM preferred
Experience in financial or insurance industry preferred
