Job Objectives

  • To act as a gatekeeper by following the processes for creation and changing of master data and thereby ensuring that Satair’s dataflow is as good as possible to the benefit of the entire company.

  • Act as a local representative for the master data team

  • Support the business in how to create & maintain master data but also display the impacts of data quality. It requires an interest in the end to end flow of master data and the impacts on the functions that uses the data

Job Responsibilities

  • Create and handle data validation per company policies. This task requires review of large datasets and to validate that the data is correct before uploading the data into the company’s SAP system. 

  • Follow and understand the company policies to ensure master data management tasks are completed in a compliant manner.

  • Advise internal customers on the best data set-up for a specific requirement. Guide the internal customers on how to ensure a proper data quality and/or advise on how the load templates must be filled. 

  • Continuously monitor, maintain and update the correct level of master data. Ensure that only correct data is uploaded and when we are asked to change data it is changed in a compliant way.

  • Participate in process improvements.  

  • Complete end-to-end process for master data tasks due to urgent Aircraft on Ground (AOG) orders that may occur outside of normal business hours including weekends

  • Ensuring that the processes are followed and the Master Data quality is increased in the region and globally

  • Acting as Master Data’s representative in the region by supporting the local stakeholders

  • Handle the AOG’s when they occur to support a fast process for our customers

  • Handle the tickets within the SLA 

  • Contributing to continuous improvement activities in the team

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the data that are received from the business has a quality that allows it to be loaded into SAP 

  • Assist the Master Data POD’s in testing if necessary

  • Assist in expanding the knowledge of what good master data quality is globally as well as regionally
     

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree

  • Excellent Excel Skills and familiar with Google Suite

  • SAP PLM/ MM knowledge

  • Ability to work independently on site with team members based in other regions (Copenhagen, Denmark & Miami, USA)

  • Experience and ability to work in a multi cultural environment

  • Thrive on providing fast and efficient service and support to internal customers

  • Methodical and take pride in delivering high quality work

  • Strong analytical skills, able to multi-task in a quick-paced and complex environment

  • A positive attitude, team player, meticulous, with a desire to explore and learn
