The Functional Lead will focus on the implementation and support of SAP projects based on S/4HANA. A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as this position will focus on working directly with multiple stakeholders including the business, solution architects, and developers to implement SAP projects.
This individual researches complex or multiple processes, applications, systems, and data to identify functional requirements for application or system design. You will also consult with customers to clarify and refine complex requirements, and interpret and translate complex requirements into functional specifications.
Position Responsibilities:
Works with requirement gathering, document preparation, End-to-End Solution design, functional spec preparation, realization, and deployment
Collaborates with cross-functional teams comprising business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Architects, Developers, System Integrators (SIs), and Vendor Consultants on current processes and proposing solutions to enhance current systems for projects and products
Identifies, recommends, and implements complex configuration solutions and implements full cycle configuration to meet business needs
Creates and updates associated documentation
Translates functional specifications into application design documents
Coordinates with the team in testing of new functionality or enhancements
Prepares test plans and test scripts, perform unit tests, and integration tests
Develops, reviews, and maintains functional application design documents in collaboration with stakeholders and System Integrator (SI) partners
Participates in the project delivery during testing cycles and leads the root cause analysis and correction of issues
Works with the usage of the Signavio process modelling, JIRA, Tricentis Tosca testing
Works to handle and lead the development of Workflow, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (WRICEF) objects independently in collaboration with Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) team
Works with SAP Project Systems
Understands the SAP Activate Methodology and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) development methods
Understands the SAP testing tools and other SAP line of business products
Contributes to overall project management plan using SAP Activate Methodology
Works with SAP S/4 Hana and FIORI
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience in SAP Quality Management (QM)
5+ years of experience in S/4HANA Quality Management
Experience with End-to-End Full Life Cycle Implementation in SAP S/4 HANA
Experience with Quality Management in large and complex business environments
Experience with Quality Integration of external systems
Experience with SAP module specific user exits, batch jobs, and standard SAP reports
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
SAP certifications in SAP S/4 PP, QM, MM
Experience in SAP Quality Management via various inspection types including 01/0101/03/04/05/06/07/08/0808/10/11/14/15/16/17
Experience in Sample Scheme, Procedures, Dynamic Modification, Inspection Methods, Inspection Plan, Results and Defect Recording, Usage Decision, Quality Notifications, Quality Planning, Inspections, Certificates, and Quality Control
Experience with SAP activate methodology and Agile (SAFe) development methods
Experience in cross functional integration with production planning SAP Production Planning (PP), sales SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), procurement SAP Materials Management (MM), and warehouse SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry
