SAP Functional Analyst (FICO)

This position is onsite #LI-Onsite

Are you experienced in analyzing, designing, configuring, and supporting SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) and Concur solutions? Reporting to the Platform Owner, Core SAP you will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to deliver effective financial solutions that align with the organization’s target state technology stack.

You will play a key role in enabling process standardization, improving financial reporting, and ensuring seamless integration between SAP FICO, Concur, and other systems. 

About the Role

SAP FICO and Concur Solution Design and Configuration

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for SAP FICO and Concur solutions.
  • Configure SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO).
  • Configure and support Concur solutions for expense management and travel processes.
  • Ensure seamless integration between SAP FICO, Concur, and other SAP/non-SAP systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for functional designs, configurations, and processes.
  • Business Process Analysis and Improvement
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand financial processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Recommend and implement best practices to optimize financial operations and reporting.
  • Support the organization’s FSM transformation program by enabling process standardization and automation.
  • Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions to address business needs.

Testing and Quality Assurance

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for SAP FICO and Concur solutions.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solution quality.
  • Identify and resolve defects during the testing phase.
  • Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements and are free of errors.

Support and Troubleshooting

  • Provide functional support for SAP FICO and Concur modules, including issue resolution and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor system performance and address any issues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Work with technical teams to resolve system integration and performance issues.

Continuous Learning and Innovation

  • Stay updated on the latest SAP FICO and Concur technologies and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance LCBO's financial systems and processes.
  • Participate in training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing activities.

About You

  • Bachelors' degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology or related experience
  • 5+ years of experience as an SAP Functional Analyst with expertise in FICO modules including implementation and support.
  • Experience with Concur configuration, support, expense management and travel solutions.
  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling.
  • SAP Certified (SAP S/4HANA for Financial Accounting and/or Management Accounting)
  • Strong knowledge of SAP FICO modules, including GL, AP, AR, AA, and CO. 
  • Experience with SAP integrations (example idocs) 
  • Experience with S/4 HANA modules including Materials Management, Sales and Distribution, and Transportation Management. 
  • Experience with MuleSoft or similar middleware platforms. 
  • Knowledge of SAP integration tools and technologies 
  • Experience with Agile project product methodologies.
