Sanitation Supervisor, 3rd Shift - Bakery

Indianapolis, Indiana Full time

The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for ensuring machinery, equipment, and facilities meet sanitation standards. You will oversee plant sanitation programs, compliance with regulatory requirements, and foster a team-oriented environment to achieve sanitation goals. You will report to the Operations Manager in our Indianapolis bakery plant.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and train sanitation crew; plan and monitor cleaning processes.

  • Execute daily, weekly, and periodic plant-wide sanitation activities.

  • Maintain Master Cleaning Schedule (MCS), Sanitation SOPs (SSOPs), Plant Improvement Plan (PIP), and Environmental Swabbing Program per USDA guidelines.

  • Drive continuous improvement of sanitation processes with management.

  • Conduct inspections and audits; track corrective actions.

  • Report any food safety issues promptly.

What You will have:

  • High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor’s preferred.

  • Knowledge of Food Safety Guidelines, GMPs, HACCP, FDA/USDA regulations.

  • Familiarity with CIP/COP systems and TPM fundamentals.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.

  • Ability to read measurements; microbial knowledge preferred.

  • Minimum 3 years related experience; large-scale operations experience a plus.

  • Regular standing, walking, and communication throughout the shift.

  • Occasional lifting or moving of items up to 50 pounds, along with tasks that involve reaching, kneeling, or crouching.

  • Work in an environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.

  • Visual acuity required for close and distance vision, color differentiation, and depth perception.

Compensation: 

Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
