  Job Responsibilities

• Learn to assist Study Director (SD)/Principal Investigator (PI)/Study Coordinator (SC) in study set-up regarding study samples.
• Learn to prepare or checks demographic import files and coordinates the preparation of tube labels
• Assurance of accurate protocol interpretation
• Learn the process for ensuring the LIMS system is up to date with expected samples.
• Performs checks on demographic data for study samples to confirm consistency between the tube labels, LIMS system and the supplied paperwork when requested by sample management to resolve issues.
• Learn to resolve discrepancies, with responsibility for confirming and correcting any anomalies in the LIMS system.
• Learn to monitors sample logging schedules to ensure samples are logged ready for sample analysis
• Learn the process for sample reconciliation
• Learn to maintain well documented, organized and up-to-date study files with respect to sample paperwork/inventories
• Interacts/communicates with client as necessary.

• Performs other related duties as assigned

  Minimum Qualifications

  Msc Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology,

  Additional Job standards

  Usage of Watson Application, Sample Information coordinator, Sample management

  Ability to utilize word processing software, database, spreadsheet, and
  specialized software.
  
  May sit for extended periods of time
  Limited lifting required (less than 25 lbs)
