Job Description
Overview:
The Sales Manager (New Home Counselor) plays a pivotal role in supporting the daily operations and overall success of the sales center. This position delivers an exceptional customer experience to prospective and current homebuyers while demonstrating professionalism, product expertise, and a consultative sales approach. Guided by the Director of Sales and the VP, Sales & Marketing, the Sales Manager leads the full sales process, builds meaningful relationships with internal and external partners, and helps convert qualified prospects into satisfied buyers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the full end‑to‑end sales process, ensuring every prospect receives a high‑quality, customer‑focused experience from first contact through closing.
Contribute to the design, refinement, and execution of effective sales and administrative programs that support business goals and operational excellence.
Drive achievement of sales targets by consistently prospecting, nurturing leads, and converting qualified buyers through strong follow‑up and relationship‑building.
Deliver tailored, engaging presentations and provide accurate product, pricing, community, and company information to help prospects make informed decisions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and community stakeholders to expand the lead pipeline and strengthen brand presence.
Ensure the sales center, model homes, and quick‑move‑in inventory are professionally presented, well‑maintained, and aligned with company marketing and merchandising standards.
Collaborate closely with construction, purchasing, marketing, and other cross‑functional teams to support a seamless, transparent, and informed homebuying journey.
Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and market research to monitor pricing, incentives, product positioning, and emerging trends that influence sales strategy.
Prepare and deliver weekly sales reports, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure timely and compliant execution of all sales agreements and contract requirements.
Support negotiations, manage conflict resolution, and escalate issues appropriately to ensure smooth closings, protect customer satisfaction, and uphold company standards.
What You'll Bring:
Minimum of 3 years of progressive sales experience with a proven record of achieving or exceeding targets; new home or residential sales experience strongly preferred.
High school diploma required; post‑secondary education in business, sales, or a related field is an asset.
Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service and build strong client relationships.
Strong proficiency with computer systems, CRM tools, and digital communication platforms.
Excellent time‑management, organizational, and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of prospects and activities effectively.
