The Sales Analyst contributes to the achievement of customer team objectives by working closely with business teams to analyze all aspects of business plans and provide recommendations to business leaders around digital shelf to influence business results with the customer.  The Sales Analyst plays a critical role in ongoing business management by communicating results, gaps and action plans via reporting and commentary to customer teams and business leaders.

In this role, you will: 

  • Deliver Business Objectives: Achieve Net Sales, Contribution, Category Share, and Digital Shelf goals for assigned customer teams and business units.
  • Compliance: Follow Trade Promotion, A&P, and Pricing guidelines consistently.
  • Joint Business Planning (JBP): Meet mutually agreed JBP goals with assigned customers.
  • Plan Development: Collaboratively build customer business plans, translating BU/Category priorities into actionable strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with teams in Category Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Consumer Insights to identify and leverage growth opportunities.
  • Support Business Development: Assist Channel Managers and eCommerce/Sales Leaders in annual planning, presentations, and negotiations.
  • Retail Media Activation: Partner with Digital Marketing teams to develop and execute online retail media plans flawlessly.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor results vs. objectives, recommend gap closure plans, and conduct post-event ROI analysis for trade and A&P spending.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain trusted relationships with internal teams and customers, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
  • Technical & Operational Skills: Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, adaptable to change, and able to travel for business as needed.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Advanced analytical proficiency with at least 2+ years of experience in digital shelf and sales data analysis, forecasting or supply chain.
  • 10% travel

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of forecasting, supply and demand processes, digital shelf, business planning processes and tools.
  • Experience working in Consumer Package Goods (CPG) industry and B2B industry
  • Track record of developing recommendations that lead to exceeding results.
  • Skills/Competencies: Results, strategy and vision orientation, advanced analytical, data extraction and analysis, trends and insights development, strong oral and written communication, business intuition, relationship builder
  • Other Skills: Strong customer focus, prioritization and time management, active listening, ability to work independently

Salary Range: 78,660 – 92,980 USD

At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
