About the role
 

We are seeking an experienced Rural Products Sales Representative to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in supporting our customers and driving business growth.

As a Rural Products Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Branch's rural products team. You will be responsible for providing logistics support, including the safe receiving and dispatching of stock, while leveraging your expert product knowledge and exceptional customer service skills. Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients will be essential as you explore new opportunities for them. Supported by the extensive Elders network, you will have access to the necessary tools and resources to grow and advance in your career.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find exactly what they need by assisting with in-store rural product sales and answering their questions with confidence and enthusiasm.
• Keep things running smoothly behind the scenes by handling quotes, sales admin, and all the bits that make great service happen.
• Pick, pack, and deliver orders—making sure our clients get the right gear, right on time.
• Be the hero of the stockroom by helping with receiving, dispatching, and keeping everything where it should be.
• Build awesome relationships with our clients, recommending Elders products and services that genuinely help their businesses grow.
• Chase down new opportunities and bring fresh business through the door to help smash KPIs and targets.
• Get hands-on with inventory, including stocktakes and ensuring rural products are dispatched safely and accurately.
• Create smooth, hassle-free transactions by processing sales and preparing sharp, accurate quotes for clients.

About You

• Passionate about making a positive impact for clients and the community.
• Possess technical knowledge of seasonal and rural products to effectively support clients.
• Demonstrate a proven track record in sales and possess strong retail skills.
• Capable of delivering high levels of customer service and cultivating relationships with current and prospective clients.
• Hold a valid driver’s license. A forklift license is preferred, with support available to obtain one.
