The RN Specialty Services Director will be responsible for the staffing, operations, planning and development, and patient and provider communication at their assigned specialty clinics. They provide clinical support to clinical staff throughout the practice management division.

Required: ADN, IL RN, BLS and ACLS within 90 days of hire
Pay: Based on experience, starting at $99,112.00
Responsibilities
Collaborates with communications department in the marketing and promotion of medical providers and their practices. Supports outreach efforts, patient education programs and community engagement related to the service line., Collaborates with physicians, anesthesia, nursing, and support teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes and a seamless procedural experience. Drives initiatives to improve procedural access, on time starts, turnover time and case throughput., Develops and manages the clinic's annual operating and capital budget. Monitors financial performance including revenue cycle management, charge capture and expense control., Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and the rules of accreditation. CIA additionally provides ongoing clinical advice to Patient Safety Committee, JCAHO oversight function, and Regulatory Compliance Committee to assure division compliance in ways best meeting the changing needs of patients, providers and regulatory expectations. , Ensures safe, efficient and high-quality care delivery across the procedural unit while maintaining regulatory compliance and optimizing resource utilization., Leader-Coach: Leads by example. Works with infection prevention, sterile processing and nursing leadership to maintain procedural room standards and reprocessing protocols., Oversees clinic supervisors and managers, providing coaching and performance evaluations. Monitors clinic productivity, efficiency, access and capacity., Partner with medical directors, anesthesia providers and physicians to align procedural schedules, protocols and throughput goals. Develops and implements strategic plans for service line optimization, capacity expansion and new procedure adoption., Provides clinical expertise and assists with the development of clinical processes, policies, and competencies throughout practice management., Provides oversight in clinic related construction projects., Provides strategic leadership through development and implementation of service line goals, growth initiatives and performance improvement strategies. Identifies opportunities for service line expansion, partnerships and innovation., Responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating strategies for a smooth transition from the recruitment phase to the operating and staff retention phase of the physician network (on-boarding). Works collaboratively in the process with the physician recruiter., Serves as clinical resource for Practice Management with oversight for competency validation for RN, LPN and Med Assistant staff., Supports leadership development and succession planning within the service line, ensuring regular communication and collaboration between supervisors, staff and providers.Requirements
