Restructure Manager

West Valley City, UT Full time

The Restructure Manager plays a critical leadership role in overseeing the daily operations of the Restructure team and supporting other managers within the Indirect Lending Origination group. This individual acts as a key resource for team members by managing escalations, offering operational guidance, and driving training and development initiatives. The Restructure Manager collaborates closely with leadership on strategic projects, performance reporting, and risk mitigation efforts—ensuring consistency, efficiency, and excellence in all processes.

Location: On-Site in West Valley City, UT

Schedule:  Monday- Friday 8am-5pm; some Saturdays
 

In the Role:

Operational Support

  • Act as a primary resource for Restructure Specialists by providing support on system use, processes, and application decisions.
  • Collaborate across restructure teams to ensure application reviews are consistent, compliant, and aligned with OneMain’s lending policies.
  • Provide cross-coverage between both Restructure teams as needed to maintain workflow balance and service levels.
     

Escalation Management

  • Address complex or high-risk escalations, including dealer complaints, with professionalism and urgency.
  • Maintain a balanced approach to resolving issues—mitigating risk while preserving dealer relationships and ensuring a positive customer experience.
     

Team Development & Training

  • Conduct regular one-on-one check-ins and coaching sessions to foster team member growth and performance.
  • Lead continuous training efforts to ensure current team members stay aligned with updated policies and evolving business strategies.
  • Onboard and train new Restructure Specialists, Dealer Relationship Representatives (DRRs), and Internal Sales Representatives on key workflows, including Contract Resolution and Underwriting.
     

Leadership & Project Support

  • Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives, performance tracking, and implementation of process improvements.
  • Assist in compiling and analyzing reporting to drive team performance and identify areas of opportunity.
  • Represent the Restructure team in cross-functional meetings and collaborate with other departments to streamline operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in indirect lending, underwriting, or restructure roles; prior leadership or team lead experience preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of OneMain’s indirect lending products, systems (e.g., Bedrock, RouteOne, DealerTrack), and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability with a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and lead effectively in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Collaborative team player with a passion for developing others and driving results.
