Our Research Training Manager is part of SCRI’s Quality, Safety, & Systems Compliance team and is responsible for managing all aspects of business unit (CRO, SMO & Enabling) research operations training. In addition, this role will provide ongoing support to clinical trial research staff through continuing education and training as needs are identified by staff, leadership, or external entities.

This is a remote position based in the US; relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available.

In this role, the duties include:

* Training Administration:

  • In partnership with Key Stakeholders, this position will develop, modify existing, and maintain to keep up-to-date written training curricula/materials (virtual and in-person), visual aids, manuals, guides, forms, videos, and presentations for the research operations team.

  • Ensures all training materials and related documents are prepared in a user-friendly, understandable, clear, concise, accessible, and visually appealing format, and are well-written and thoroughly proofed.

  • Establish an onboarding plan with checklists and associated documents that are organized, easily accessible, maintained, and current.

  • Other duties as assigned.

* Training Delivery:

  • Determine implementation plans, schedules, resource needs, and supporting logistics for delivery of training initiatives.

  • Manage external resources, as needed, to maximize cost effectiveness and quality.

  • Facilitate training and enlist others for facilitation, as needed.

  • Consistently reviews participant training evaluations and learning outcomes to ensure training is useful and effective and then revises as necessary based on feedback.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for success include:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred

  • 7+ years' Corporate Training experience in a healthcare, clinical research, pharmaceutical or biotech environment.

  • Exceptional technology experience and interest including all Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

  • Documented training, knowledge, and application of current FDA Regulations, GCP, and ICH guidelines in clinical trials.

  • Experience with Articulate or similar software for educational module creation.

  • Attention to detail, solid execution, meeting aggressive timelines, strong interpersonal skills, and being a team player.

  • Ability to work within established timelines, in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • RN or Certification in Specialty Area

  • ACRP Certification (ACRP Certified Professional or Certified Clinical Research Coordinator)

  • Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD)

  • Certified Instructional Designer
