Your Main Responsibilities as Regional Product Manager Energy & Digital Solutions within the Sales & Service Region Central Europe as part of the KION Group:
Take regional product responsibility for the Energy, Safety, and Digital product portfolio
Drive and monitor product performance against targets defined by the brands within the focus areas
Plan, organize, and deliver product trainings to ensure strong product knowledge across the region
Provide local product support to sales and service teams across Central Europe by ensuring effective information flow and ongoing support for country experts and local organizations, supporting local entities in developing customer‑specific solutions, and developing as well as coaching consultants and sales experts in the Central Europe Region within the defined focus areas
Support central development projects by analyzing country requirements and coordinating with central departments to enable suitable solutions
Adapt central products to local market requirements, actively supporting internationalization efforts
Serve as the operational link between the regional expert network and Headquarters
Promote central concepts, standards, and tools related to the focus topics across the region
Provide structured feedback to HQ product managers to support continuous product and solution development
Create, maintain, and coordinate technical documentation and marketing materials
Steer and support local marketing activities in alignment with central guidelines and regional priorities
Actively participate in central core team activities and cross‑functional initiatives
The following skills and competencies are required for this position:
You have a university degree in Engineering or a comparable technical qualification
Solid technical background with a strong general technical understanding and affinity for technology
Good knowledge of electrical engineering and battery storage technologies
Experience with fuel cell technology and being familiar with safety and digital products is advantageous
Proven experience in organization, coordination, and effective communication across stakeholders and different decision levels
Strong capability and motivation to drive and develop a new business segment as well as a hands‑on mentality with a strong willingness to take ownership and deliver results
Customer‑ and service‑oriented mindset with a clear focus on value creation and a consultative, sales‑oriented approach with the ability to translate needs into solutions
High level of initiative and action‑oriented attitude embedded in daily work incl. the confidence in making decisions within your area of responsibility
Strong team player who enjoys collaborating in cross‑functional and international teams
Willingness to travel up to 20% in the Region Central Europe
Strong written and spoken English skills in a professional context are essential
Being able to speak additional languages e.g. German or any language being spoken in Central Europe are an advantage
