Bring your energy to Aggreko as Regional Intercompany Accountant based in Milan. You’ll centralize and manage critical intercompany accounting activities across South and Eastern Europe, covering Italy, Spain, France, Portugal, Poland, and Romania.

What you’ll do as Regional Intercompany Accountant:
Compliance & Collaboration: Ensure strict adherence to Group intercompany policies and procedures, actively liaising with regional counterparts for seamless operations.
Mismatch Resolution: Analyse, understand, manage, and promptly resolve intercompany mismatches, disputes, and aged settlement positions, escalating for arbitration when necessary.
Account Monitoring: Continuously monitor and manage Intercompany recharge and accrual accounts for all regional divisions, identifying and resolving errors and their root causes.
Reconciliation & Approval: Review and approve comprehensive reconciliations for IC accounts (Balance Sheet/Profit & Loss), IC subledgers (AR/AP), and IC Loans.
Accurate Coding: Perform accurate coding of high-volume intercompany invoices within the AP management tool and provide proper coding and approval for IC accruals.
Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with regional finance teams, acting as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors for all intercompany-related queries.
You are:
A senior accounting professional with a strong accounting background and a minimum of 3 years of direct intercompany or reconciliation experience.
Proven ability to manage high volumes of invoices and transactions.
Proficiency in leveraging M3 system knowledge to review intercompany positions efficiently.
Exceptional communication and influencing skills to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Ability to work autonomously after initial training and manage recharges between divisions effectively.
Mandatory Language Skills: Native Italian and fluent English.
