R&D Pharmacokinetics and Drug Metabolism - Grad Intern
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. During this program, you will join the Pharmacokinetics and Drug Metabolism & Bioanalytical Sciences (PKDM-BA) group based in South San Francisco, CA. The PKDM-BA organization is dedicated to understanding the absorption, distribution, metabolism, and elimination (ADME) properties of novel drug candidates to enable the discovery and development of innovative therapies.
The intern will work in a cross-functional team to evaluate and develop experimental workflows that characterize protein–protein interactions and target occupancy for protein therapeutics. This work will support mechanistic understanding of drug–target engagement and guide translational decision-making. Specifically, the intern will develop and apply immunoaffinity capture and/or crosslinking mass spectrometry (XL–MS) workflows to characterize protein complexes and derive quantitative readouts of target engagement.

The base pay range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $30-$40 per hour
