Quality Technician
Job Summary:**
The Quality Technician at Jabil, Inc. plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of products and processes. This position involves performing a range of quality control activities, including inspection, auditing and documentation, to uphold Jabil's high standards and meet customer specifications.
Job Responsibilities:**
1. Perform first article inspection and review visual aids.
2. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
3. Perform MRB on sustained products.
4. Perform internal audit and monitor for compliance.
5. Assist Quality Engineering in product life cycle management (PLCM)
6. Experience in SMT and HLA Process.
7. Identify and isolate non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate corrective action requests (CARs) as needed.
8. Assist in the investigation of quality issues, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
9. Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to address quality concerns and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
* 1-3 years of experience in a quality control or manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics manufacturing or a similar industry.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
* Basic understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
* Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
* Able to work in shift
