How Will You Make an Impact?
As a Quality Engineer III at our Hendersonville, NC facility, you will serve as a senior-level technical resource supporting global customer accounts and complex manufacturing operations. You will lead the development of quality plans, drive APQP activities, manage customer and supplier quality issues, and ensure the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions. Your expertise will help standardize processes, improve product quality, strengthen global quality systems, and ensure seamless communication between Jabil, customers, and suppliers.

What Will You Do?
- Develop and maintain quality assurance plans for global new product introductions using APQP and process optimization tools.
- Participate in quoting activities by supporting process design, development, and implementation.
- Evaluate inspection processes and provide input on inspection aids, instructions, and quality controls.
- Support global training initiatives by developing and delivering specialized quality training for applicable functions.
- Develop and maintain systems for global document storage, access, and review.
- Review supplier, internal, and customer discrepancies; coordinate corrective and preventive action activities and verify effectiveness.
- Conduct periodic review and maintenance of documentation files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate supplier and customer discrepancy resolution, including proactive quality improvement efforts with suppliers.
- Participate in vendor surveys and support supplier process improvement activities.
- Interface with all departments to ensure understanding and adherence to quality policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support on process improvement and optimization, with an emphasis on proactive quality methodologies.
- Support standardization of manufacturing processes for global customer accounts.
- Act as a primary technical liaison with customers, providing support on quality‑related issues.
- Follow all safety and health rules and comply with company security policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
How Will You Get Here?
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Five (5) years of related quality engineering experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong experience with APQP, quality planning, and process optimization.
- Ability to evaluate inspection methods, documentation systems, and quality controls.
- Proficiency in analyzing discrepancies and leading effective corrective/preventive actions.
- Experience interfacing directly with customers and suppliers on quality issues.
- Ability to develop and deliver training across global teams.
- Strong organizational skills for managing documentation and global quality systems.
- Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to support process standardization across multiple sites and customers.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing quality practices and regulatory expectations.
