Job Description:
Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Quality Data Management and Analytics, this position is responsible for managing data collection, analysis and reporting to improve quality and patient safety outcomes at OU Health. Will manage projects and educate and train associates, physicians, and leaders in quality data measurement.
Essential Responsibilities:

- Acts as the OU Health expert on quality data analytics and reporting, including qualitative and quantitative quality metrics.
- Design and implement structures and processes for analyzing quality data from numerous sources to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Identifies and Implements industry-wide best practice related to quality data capture and reporting.
- Stays up to date on trends and innovations in healthcare quality data management.
- Provide expertise, vision, and insight regarding healthcare regulation and measurement.
- Partner with key stakeholders to develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve overall performance in quality and patient safety for OU Health.
- Develop intuitive quality and safety dashboards and other visual systems to communicate KPIs in a clear and concise manner.
- Trains and coach’s leaders on accessing and using quality data, including running reports and interpreting performance.
- Assist with overall management of publicly reported measures such as Leapfrog and CMS Hospital Compare; develop predictive analytics and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Practice and adhere to “Code of Conduct.”

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Statistics, Data Science, or other related field required. Master’s Degree preferred.
Experience
- 3 years of related experience required. Experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred
License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: None
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- A passion for healthcare quality and patient safety excellence.
- Must be proficient in data analysis and visualization.
- Broad database management and spreadsheet application proficiency (e.g., SQL, Excel).
- Ability to interact and connect with people is required.
- Able to present to leadership groups with skill in summarizing data into actionable information.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills required, with an emphasis on attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Vizient Clinical Quality Database (CDB) experience highly preferred.
- Advanced biostatistics and data modeling skills highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare quality regulations .
- Epic experience a plus.
- Lean Six Sigma Certification desirable.
