Position Summary

The Engineering Department ensures all equipment operates at peak performance by managing spare parts, vendors, and purchase orders. The team supports preventative maintenance, calibration, and repairs for Med & Gel Prep, Encapsulation, Packaging, and Facilities equipment. As a Project Engineering Technologist, you will work collaboratively to drive initiatives that improve equipment reliability and overall efficiency.

The Role 

  • Supports manufacturing operations through equipment setup, changeover, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair using mechanical and electrical skills.

  • Leads small-scale process improvement projects and apply expertise in CNC, CMM, Automation, Serialization, and other specialized technologies.

  • Works with limited supervision while providing guidance to less experienced colleagues.

  • Handles corrective maintenance and other atypical assignments as needed.

  • Ensures all work and training support are performed safely and in compliance with company procedures.

  • Other duties as assigned.

The Candidate 

  • Associate’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience required, OR;

  • High School diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience or vocational training required.

  • Technical Certificate or higher preferred.

  • Demonstrates intermediate mechanical and/or electrical skills supported by relevant education or training required.

  • Experience working in a GMP environment with strong knowledge of documentation practices preferred & understanding of ISO 17025 and ANSI Z540 standards for calibration.

  • Physically capable of performing job duties, including sitting, standing, and walking regularly, and lifting to 20 lbs. independently (no lifting over 44 lbs. without assistance).
