What this role is all about:

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Auditor in Tomah, WI.

  • Training Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5:45AM – 4:15 PM
  • Working Schedule (Tentative Transition February 1, 2026): Monday - Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM

The Quality Assurance Auditor monitors operational processes for compliance with policies and procedures to include, but not limited to, internal audits of batching, blending, and packaging.  The position follows standard work methods and safe work habits to ensure product integrity.

Job Duties:

  • Assess the procedures of the production process, as well as inspecting and calibrating auditing tools.

  • Verify against the master manufacturing records: blend number, components, weight, lot numbers to a batch at its critical points in the production process.

  • Verify against the packaging records: purchase order, packaging components, raw materials, and signatures.

  • Validate tote records.

  • Assist quality assurance and production with product out of specification and non-conformance.

  • Report any Food Safety issues to authorized personnel for correction.

  • Prepare sample bins for production and testing folders for the lab

  • Compositing samples and preparing for further analysis

  • Check in and out of Sanitary Scoops for sampling and production purposes

  • Clean, sanitize and autoclave Sanitary Scoops

  • Review production tailings, recording results, and bringing findings to management attention for evaluation.

  • Dispose of laboratory retains

  • Input laboratory data into excel spreadsheets

  • Fulfill Sample Requests as needed

  • Order laboratory supplies as needed

  • Act as back up to Laboratory Technicians

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety processes and procedures as set forth by the company.

  • Complete environmental sampling

  • Complete inhouse micro testing and interpreting results

  • Complete comping samples and sensory analysis

  • Maintain cleanliness of laboratory area and clean it as necessary

Education Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum one (1) year of quality experience, preferred
