Job Description Summary

This role will be responsible for quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and billing management for civil and structural works under Cushman & Wakefield’s PDS and Cost Consultancy framework. The role involves preparing and validating civil quantities, verifying contractor bills, monitoring budgets, and ensuring cost accuracy and compliance with project and contractual requirements. The candidate will coordinate closely with planning, site, and design teams to align physical progress with financial reporting. Additionally, the role supports value engineering, variation analysis, and documentation to maintain cost efficiency, transparency, and control across all project stages.

About the Role:

  • Prepare and verify detailed quantity take-offs and measurements from GFC drawings and construction documentation.
  • Review and certify contractor and vendor bills as per approved BOQ, contract conditions, and actual site progress.
  • Maintain and update cost tracking sheets, monitoring financial progress against budgets and forecasts.
  • Coordinate with site and planning teams to validate physical progress for interim and final payment certifications.
  • Prepare and review rate analyses, cost comparisons, and reconciliation statements for civil and structural works.
  • Track and evaluate variation orders and scope changes, supporting approvals and documentation of change management.
  • Prepare and present monthly cost and progress reports to clients and internal management.
  • Ensure all billing and cost documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with client, contractual, and investor requirements.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to validate awarded quantities, budget provisions, and payment milestones.
  • Support cost audits, reconciliation of quantities, and assist in final account closure at project completion.
  • Collaborate with MEP and Finishes QS teams to ensure consolidated and accurate project cost reporting and MIS alignment.
  • Prepare and verify detailed quantity take-offs and measurements from GFC drawings and construction documentation.

About You:

  • Diploma/ B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
  • 5 to 8 years & above of relevant experience in quantity surveying, billing, and cost control for base-build or infrastructure projects
  • Should have handled at least 3-5 large-scale commercial, residential, or institutional projects from estimation to final billing
  • Experience with Project Management Consultancy (PMC) or Cost Consultancy preferred
  • Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, rate analysis, cost tracking, and contract administration
  • Proficiency in measurement verification, progress certification, and variation management
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and coordination skills with high attention to accuracy and detail
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities
