Your New Role

      Position provides administrative & clerical support to executives in Global Publicity.

 

Your Role Accountabilities

      Create & maintain talent and filmmaker schedules across various film titles.

      Update and maintain various lists, documents and charts on the department’s internal drive including, but not limited to, film contact sheets with talent and rep contact information, LA/NY screening schedules, press contact grids, etc.

      Maintain and update various department and team calendars with ongoing publicity activities.

      Coordinate internal and external screening room (private and commercial house) outreach in a timely manner.

      Provide general department support as needed including organizing meetings, overnighting packages, and maintaining schedules, records, and archives.

      Responsible for the invoicing process (bills/check requests/POs).

      Liaise with publicists to see what pieces on various films will be airing and compile and communicate the information to filmmakers and talent.

      Compile daily press breaks as needed for film titles and flag critical information.

      Distribute requests from press outlets to proper publicists on the team.

      Show a strong interest in national press, media and industry trends across various platforms.

      Arrange all travel and grooming needs for film talent, including negotiating rates with groomers (hair/make-up) and stylists under direction of supervisor.

      Work special events – premieres, press junkets, screenings, etc.

      Greet clients, talent, creative staff and executives, and act as talent liaison at special events.

      Check-in press at screenings/special events. Compile attendance lists & reactions to circulate to team leads, filmmakers, and talent in a timely manner.

      Participate in brainstorming and creative meetings and take meeting notes when necessary.

      Assist with relevant research for upcoming projects and films.

      Maintain and order office supplies.


Qualifications and Experience

      Previous publicity and/or marketing experience preferred.

      Must be able to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.

      Strong interest in press and publicity strategy, ideally with relevant education and/or internship experience.

      Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

      Exceptional attention to detail.

      Proactive attitude and ability to anticipate needs.

      Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Outlook required.

      Must be able to work some nights and weekends as needed to assist with events.

      Must have the ability to organize & schedule work effectively.

      Highly responsible, discreet, and sensitive with confidential information.

      Passionate and knowledgeable about the entertainment landscape and enthusiastic to learn about the business.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $42,006.00 - $78,010.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
