Job Description:

Job Summary
The Part-Time Package Center Supervisor position is a daytime office-based leadership role that supports the package center's daily delivery and pickup operation. This position serves as a key communication between customers, drivers, dispatch, and management. The supervisor is responsible for protecting service, resolving issues in real time, and ensuring accurate reposting and administrative execution throughout the day.

This role is ideal for candidates who excel in fast-paced environments, enjoy problem-solving, and are comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
  • Facilitates annual compliance training with current employees.
  • Manages department resources to ensure maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency at all times.
  • Establishes and promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement, pro-active communication, inter-departmental cooperation, and continual improvement on all levels.
  • Implements employee personal development plans as required to ensure the continuing professional growth of department personnel.
  • Ensures all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Answers phones and respond to customer inquiries, concerns, and service requests.
  • Communicate with drivers to resolve delivery exceptions and operational issues in real time.
  • Adjust and move pickup/delivery work to maintain service commitments.
  • Support daily dispatch planning and update deliver information as needed.
  • Track service failures, follow up with customers, and document resolutions.
  • Collaborate with center management to maintain service performance.
  • Complete administrative tasks including printing reports, data entry, and timecard verification.


Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
  • Availability to work 5 hours per day, 5 days per week
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Management experience - Preferred, but not required.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM (can vary based on package volume)

Wage: $ 25.70/hr.
