Job Description

Position Summary

The Property Technology Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the stability and performance of technology systems spanning infrastructure, networking, telecom, and energy management systems for a diverse portfolio of retail properties. The ideal candidate brings experience in IoT infrastructure within a real estate or property management environment, along with strong organizational, analytical, and cross-functional coordination skills while fostering collaboration among IT teams, property stakeholders, and vendor partners. Success is defined by the ability to effectively execute complex initiatives while confidently handling high-impact escalations, coordinate outage response efforts, and drive timely resolution of critical issues.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end execution of technology projects and ad-hoc initiatives by driving day-to-day coordination, status tracking, and issue resolution in alignment with IT management’s defined scopes, timelines, requirements, processes, and strategy.

  • Keep IT management informed on timelines, expectations, and project impacts through clear communications, prompt issues escalation, and timely updates.

  • In collaboration with IT support, networking, property teams, and vendors, coordinate and assist on-the-ground troubleshooting and resolution of technology issues and service outages, as needed.

  • Serve as the primary vendor liaison during project execution and service outage resolution and managing site-level activity.

  • Build and maintain strong vendor partnerships to ensure timely technician dispatch, site readiness verification, effective on-site service delivery, adherence to specifications, and issue escalation to IT management.

  • Contribute to vendor evaluation by providing feedback on vendor SLA performance, service quality and overall effectiveness.

  • As directed by IT management, collaborate with property teams to ensure technology products comply with internal policies, including cybersecurity, physical access, data handling, and legal guidelines.

  • Maintain strong working relationships with property teams and corporate stakeholders.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications          

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or service delivery, with exposure to enterprise infrastructure environments. Experience within a real estate company or property management environment is preferred.

  • At least 3 years coordinating or supporting the implementation of IT infrastructure technology, including networking, telecom, and device management.

  • Experience managing technician vendor coordination, on-site service calls, and field deployments and troubleshooting.

  • Working knowledge of ITIL principles and comfort operating in structured service environments.

  • Proficiency with ServiceNow, Monday.com, or similar platforms for tracking issues, tasks, and project management.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across departments, vendors, and stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced, dynamic settings with minimal supervision.

  • Comfortable navigating property operations environments and maintaining professional rapport with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a consistent focus on follow-through and meeting project timelines.

  • Basic budgeting and cost tracking skills, with the ability to monitor project-related expenses and provide accurate updates to project managers and stakeholders.

Compensation

  • Salary type: Exempt 

  • Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly

  • Annual Base Salary Range: $75,000 - $105,000

  • Annual Bonus: 10%
