Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Property Asset Management Manager – Level 1, to join our team in Redondo Beach CA.

In this job, you will:

  • Ensure all current and new asset management systems and process are compliant with requirements and regulations (e.g. FAR and DFARS ) and company policies.
  • Ensure assets are managed throughout their life cycle.
  • Increase value by driving efficiencies through strategically aligned property resources, processes and systems.
  • Work with management teams within the division and sector to develop innovative solutions for complex processes and issues.
  • Ensure the company stays ahead of changing industry trends related to property management and promotes better understanding of the property organization’s role throughout the company.
  • Advise management of critical project completion dates. Develop and recommend alternative schedules and recovery plans.
  • Oversee and manage property department budgets. Establish proposal estimating Data sheets for asset management activities. Attend and support EAC meetings and PM and IPT meetings as applicable.
  • Perform data analysis to mitigate asset business system risk, identify opportunities for improvement and plan for resource requirements.
  • Assist with managing internal contractor self-assessment schedules and reviews.
  • Coordinate activities for both direct and indirect reports at site and division levels.
  • Act as the focal interface with new projects, government agencies, customers, and company management on topics that relate to Asset Management.
  • Serve as prime consultant to Management on Property matters pertaining to policies, plans, and objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of professional experience in Government Property Asset Management – OR – Master’s degree with 3+ years of professional experience in Government Property Asset Management.
  • Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Working Knowledge of FAR 52.245-1, 45, and DFARS 245.6, 252.245-7003, 252.245-7005 and other applicable FAR, DFARS, DoD regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Experience with industry leading best practices, techniques, and standards as they pertain to property and asset management.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Professional Property Manager (CPPM)
  • Knowledge or understanding of MMAS, ISO/AS9100, and SOX standards that impacts asset management
  • Familiarity with SAP
  • Current US Government Top Secret security clearance.

Primary Level Salary Range: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
