Project Manager, Transformation
Reports to: Sr Director, Transformation
Job Summary:
As a Project Manager within the Transformation Management Office (TMO), you will serve as a strategic partner and operational leader supporting the Senior Director of Transformation and VP of Transformation, and the innovation team. You will lead the design, execution, and cross-functional implementation of high-impact transformation initiatives, including Integrated Business Planning, GTM redesign, and AI/GenAI acceleration, while driving tool development, onboarding and coordinating external vendors, and program deployment. The immediate term will require a special focus on AI and gen AI innovation, adoption, and scaling. As such you will be responsible for prioritizing use cases for experimentation and scaling, identifying the right infrastructure and solutions for scaling together with the innovation teams, and driving adoption, change management and success measurement across brands.
This role demands a seasoned leader capable of managing complex workstreams, influencing senior stakeholders, and guiding junior team members-within your own team and across brand teams.
In addition, you will serve as ambassador of the transformation team across the brands and regions, shaping executive communications and ELT update materials, and strategic analyses that inform enterprise-wide decisions.
How You Will Make a Difference:
Transformation Program Leadership:
- Lead end-to-end execution of transformation workstreams, with a focus on AI / Gen AI innovation and enablement with focus on product creation, digital, marketing, and brand assets.
- Serve as program lead across regions, ensuring seamless operationalization and stakeholder alignment with minimal oversight.
- Work closely together with the Innovation team to drive implementation and value delivery of AI / Gen AI use cases where technology is mature enough to be scaled across the enterprise
- Design processes, accountabilities, systems integration, and address roadblocks to ensure tech adoption, and drive change management; support rollout of new tools and systems on ad-hoc basis by trouble shooting, identifying gaps in usability/functionality, etc.
- Collaborate with outside agencies on rapid proof of concepts to test emerging technologies and define business requirements for scalability
- Address risks and challenges together with the Innovation team, business teams, and legal teams to ensure responsible and ethical use of AI / Gen AI; draft governance mechanisms
- Determine business value and use cases for emerging technologies across brands and regions to drive further acceleration and move applications from experimentation to scalability
- Co-lead AI forums for cross-brand exchange and use case showcase; provide inputs for RFPs related to AI
- Shape the innovation roadmap and prioritize use cases for deployment across Gen AI activities; collaborate with brands and business stakeholders to ensure alignment
- Facilitate onboarding and training for business teams to ensure adoption of new systems and processes.
- Develop and present executive-level updates and training materials to support change management and VF Academies.
- Identify and mitigate risks across interdependent workstreams, ensuring timely handover to business-as-usual operations.
- Partner with Finance and workstream leads to track value realization and escalate execution challenges as needed.

- Lead development of bespoke tools aligned with transformation priorities and leadership initiatives.
- Coordinate cross-functional alignment across IT, Digital, Marketing, and Finance to ensure successful enablement of strategic programs.
- Partner with Finance and workstream leads to track value realization and escalate execution challenges as needed.
- Champion the stand-up and integration of the transformation team across global regions and brands.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture and collaborative mindset.
- Act as a thought partner to senior leadership, helping prioritize initiatives and surface new transformation opportunities

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree related field: Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 7 years of related experience in consumer-centric, fast-moving companies.
- Demonstrated success leading strategic and operational initiatives within a transformation office or PMO in a global setting
Preferred Experience:
- Cost optimization or digital transformation, ideally within apparel, footwear, or fashion.
- Background in planning, merchandising, or buying is a plus.
- Interest or experience in data science, AI, and GenAI technologies is highly desirable
Hiring Range:
$112,320.00 USD - $140,400.00 USD annually
Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
