PURPOSE OF THE FUNCTION


The MA&EG Asset, Indication & Pipeline Project Managers oversees the high-level plans and progress of MA&EG Indication & Pipeline teams from early development through commercialization. They partner with the MA&EG Indication & Pipeline Lead and the Functional Leads and Subject Matter Experts (SME) that participate in the Early Development, Indication & Commercial Strategy Teams.


As part of MA&EG Strategy & Planning, they drive strategic alignment, integrated medical planning, cross‑functional connectivity, governance clarity and operational excellence across MA&EG ensuring the organization delivers projects that are coordinated, high‑impact, and patient‑centered. They champion the client ways of working and the cultural pillars. They champion the mapping and mitigation of project risks, and apply lessons learned.


MA&EG Indication & Pipeline PMs facilitates the creation, maintenance and annual updates of the integrated evidence and data generation planning (IEGPs) and utilize available tools and existing digital systems to manage and track progress. They closely collaborate with stakeholders who own, contribute to, and/or manage the tactics or projects.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Community & Project Management
• Coordinate and facilitate MA&EG Indication Meetings including in person meetings as needed.
• Develop agendas, capture action items, distribute minutes, and ensure timely follow up across stakeholders.
• Maintain organized team communication channels and ensure consistent dissemination of relevant materials.
• Build and manage project timelines, trackers, dashboards, and documentation to ensure visibility and timely execution.
• Manage operational oversight for IEGPs and other strategic medical plans to ensure delivery of MA&EG Asset and Indication objectives, goals, strategies, measures (OGSM).
• Drive collaboration and cross functional execution and ensure alignment on indication deliverables.

Financial & Resource Planning
• Participate in Beyond Budgeting cycles with indication teams, contributing to forecasting and ongoing financial tracking for relevant projects.
• Assist with operational and resource allocation assessments to drive efficiency and informed decision making.
• Contribute annually to development of goal setting.
External Engagement & KOL Activities
• Support planning, logistics, and execution for KOL engagements, advisory boards, and scientific external interactions.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, documentation standards, and meeting requirements.
Vendor & Partner Oversight
• Provide operational oversight of vendors supporting key initiatives, ensuring scope adherence and quality delivery.
• Serve as a point of coordination between internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Team Infrastructure & Knowledge Management
• Maintain team repositories, folders, shared drives, and distribution lists to support collaboration and transparency.
• Consolidate information, streamline workflows, and support process improvements that enhance organizational efficiency.

Community Building

Manage onboarding processes for new Community members, ensuring smooth integration into platforms, systems, and workflows.
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes, tools, and engagement models; develop actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Foster cross functional collaboration by surfacing insights, highlighting bottlenecks, and proposing lessons learned.

• Strong project management skills; broad exposure to Medical Affairs process; advanced planning experience with Project Management Tools. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is an advantage.
• Able to deal with continuous change.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills (English primary fluency or full professional proficiency).
• Consultant or employee.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Advanced degree (Master or PhD) in health-related discipline or equal by experience.
• At least 5 years of project management experience in distinct phases of development, in different disease areas, preferably post approval phase, phase 4 and real world evidence studies.
• At least 5 years of Program Management experience in a Pharmaceutical or Biotech environment, preferably cross-cultural and on global project teams.

• Travel required on a quarterly basis; international travel if based in the United States.
