Job Description:

The Role: Project Manager

 

 

The main role purpose is to successfully manage projects allocated to the position, ensuring delivery of the projects on time, within budget and within scope. By all this to support the execution of the shared services/global business services strategy.

 

Job type: permanent, based in Germany

Key accountabilities:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget, including post implementation support

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives and benefit case, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

  • Ensure resource availability and allocation

  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques

  • Report and escalate to management as needed

  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks

  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors and various departments, stakeholders involved into the project

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

  • Ensure proper change management and strict migration methodology applied specifically for migration projects

 

Required experience:

  • Minimum 5–7 years in PMO, integration management, or large-scale transformation roles.

  • Strong background in industrial, engineering, or manufacturing sectors; experience with post-merger integration – nice to have.

  • Proven track record managing multi-functional, international programs with high complexity.

  • Excellent stakeholder management experience in matrixed, cross-border environments.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, HR, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a must.

  • Proven Change Management knowledge.

  • Nice to have proven Psychology knowledge.

 

Language requirements:

  • Fluent German (C1/C2 level) – mandatory

  • Fluent English – mandatory
